GENERAL

Yes, you will receive an order confirmation email within 48 hours after you have placed your order.

In the United States we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover, Elo, and Diners Club debit and credit cards. Also we accept Klarna Pay Later.

In Australia, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, and the United Kingdom we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express debit and credit cards. In Ireland, Italy, United Kingdom and Spain we also accept Klarna Pay Later.

In Canada we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express debit and credit cards.

In Denmark we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express debit and credit cards. Also we accept Klarna Pay Later.

In Germany we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express debit and credit cards, Bancontact and Klarna Pay Later.

In The Netherlands we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express debit and credit cards, Bancontact, as well as payments using iDEAL. Also we accept Klarna Pay Later.

In Belgium we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express debit and credit cards, as well as payments using Bancontact, and iDEAL. Also we accept Klarna Pay Later.

Lifestyle shoes typically don’t restock except for Synchron Classic OG, Mestari and Albatross Carry Over models as well as the Fusion 2.0 Black/Black.

Running shoes will be restocked through their season. Running styles typically refresh every year and a half.

DELIVERY

From this website we ship to all European countries within the Eurozone as well as to the UK, Norway, and Switzerland.

RETURNS

Yes, we offer a 14 days returns policy.

If you choose to return for a refund, we'll provide a prepaid return-shipping label for orders within the eurozone and a refund for the amount you paid for the returning item, minus a €5.00 restocking fee per return.

The prepaid return-shipping label is included in your shipment, in case the return label is missing in your shipment, you must notify us at customerserviceEU@karhu.com within 14 days of the date the product was delivered to you.

The returned product must be received by our facility within 21 days of the date the product was delivered to you. We will process your refund as soon as possible, after we have received the returned product, and within a maximum of 30 days.

We only provide a pre-paid return label on orders that are shipped from within the Eurozone.

RETURNS FROM FINLAND AND FRANCE:

RETURNS FROM UNITED KINGDOM (PER 18-12-2020):

Karhu does not cover the cost of returns from the UK. Returns from the UK can be sent to the address listed below. This return address is in the UK. Therefore, duties and taxes do not need to be paid.

Note: Including your order number in the reference field of the shipment label or including your packing slip will help in processing your return/refund as quickly as possible. 

Returns from Switzerland & Norway:  

If you choose to make a return from Switzerland or Norway, you may choose any carrier for the return shipment. The shipment must be delivered to the address of our European warehouse (see below) for a refund. The returned product must be received by our facility within 21 days of the date the product was delivered to you and be in proper condition. We will process your refund as soon as we have the returned product and within a maximum of 30 days. 

When a customer would like to receive a refund, they must send the return shipment at their own cost (including duties and taxes) to the following return address:

RUNNING SHOES

When fitting running shoes we recommend going up half a size in the Ikoni and Ikoni HiVo.

The Fusion and Synchron fit true to size with the Synchron being a slimmer fit.

The Fulcrum is a midsole technology found primarily in our performance shoes.  It is designed to move you forward efficiently.  Karhu shoes produce less vertical and horizontal oscillation – or “bounce” producing more forward momentum in every stride.

Ortix is what gives KARHU “fit” which is based on data driven insights. The data collected from over 2 Million runner's feet.

Ortix refers to the shape of the midsole, volumes of the upper and overall measurements of the last.

HiVo provide a higher volume upper to accommodate thicker or broader feet, and feet with common problems like bunions, calluses and corns.

A specific last and upper pattern for a women's foot. Only available for the Karhu Fusion.

A shoe update ending in .5 will have a very similar fit and feel to its predecessor.The updated shoe will have undergone minor improvements.


A shoe update ending in .0 will have undergone a complete overhaul. The fit and/or feel will be different from the previous version.

Yes! We have running shoes with increased support to help guide your foot through a more natural gait.

Check out the Fusion and Synchron which contain longer variations of our fulcrum piece to help smooth out pronation. 

LIFESTYLE SHOES

From our experience with fitting Lifestyle we recommend to go up half a size in the Albatross, Aria and Fusion 2.0.

For the Synchron Classic and Trampas order a full size up.

The Mestari and Legacy are the most true-to-size in our experience.

It is not recommended to use a washing machine to clean shoes.  We recommend using a dry hairbrush or toothbrush to remove debris from the outsole, midsole, and upper.  Mix warm water with a small amount of laundry detergent to make a cleaning solution. Remove laces and insert. Proceed to use a clean cloth with the cleaning solution to clean the laces, insert, and any areas of the shoe that are dirty.  Avoid submerging the shoe or soaking it completely.  Repeat on any area again if necessary.  Remove excessive moisture with a dry cloth or stuff your shoes with newspaper overnight.  Let the laces, insert, and shoe air dry completely before use.
