The Mestari Control is a nod to one of the most famous shoes in KARHU’s history, which came to be known for its patented Air Cushion technology. This modern take on a classic features that very same Air Cushion unit embedded in a robust midsole built for comfort and stability. Additionally, the Mestari Control utilizes a slip-resistant outsole equipped with a unique traction pattern that was also inspired by shoes from KARHU’s back catalogue.

Universal Works have shaken up the narrative by bringing an upside down, inverted illumination of what it means to combine activewear with traditional shapes and silhouettes. The iconic Karhu M-logo has been used throughout, but flipped to give a nod to the ‘W’ in Universal Works. Its origins stem from the word ‘Mestari’ - the Finnish word for ‘champion’. Feeling like a winner in the clothes and shoes we’re wearing is never a bad thing.

We ship to most countries in the EU. Your order is prepared for shipment on business days the next morning after you placed your order. Typically, the warehouse is able to manage and send out your order the same day, or the next morning after they start processing it!

Delivery & Returns

Returns and Refunds

We accept returns of all items within 15 days of receiving the order with the right to full refund. A return label by Royal Mail is included in your shipment and the returns are free of charge. If you are missing the return label or need to make a second return, please email our Customer service department at customerserviceEU@karhu.com to provide you a new return label.

Your return will be accepted if the goods are returned in the same condition as when you received the order. If the item has been used, damaged, washed, altered or missing tags/labels (for apparel), we are entitled by law to charge you a fee for the depreciation of the item.

We will process your return and issue a refund within maximum of 30 days. Refunds will be issued via the original method of payment.

Exchanges

We don't do exchanges at Karhu at the moment. If you would like to change your item for a different color or size, please return your item and place a new order.

STEP 1

Place a piece of paper on the floor with one end against the wall. Put your foot on the piece of paper with your heel against the wall.

STEP 2

Take a pencil and mark the end of your longest toe on the paper. Repeat for your other foot.

STEP 3

Measure in cm from the wall (heel) to the longest point (toe). Take the larger measurements. Than take what you measured + 0.5 CM and compare it with our shoe sizes in the size chart.
